New adventure

We have spent most of 2025 travelling to many parts of the world to try and find a new location to live.

We have been to USA, Dubai, Malta, Spain and many more. Our thoughts is that in our mid 50s we have another adventure in us. We haven’t lived in many other places apart from a few years in the US in the late 90s.

Our kids are grown up and we are fit and healthy. So we have decided to relocate to Malta. There are many reasons but weather, adventure and a change of scene seem the main drivers.

We love the UK and are keeping our home in Pitlochry but there is such a shortage of housing there we are renting it out as we can’t stand the idea of it lying empty. There are too many second homes and we want to make our base our new country rather than coming back and forth.
