Madrid

I had a few days in Madrid this week visiting Andrew who has left the UK for a better life and language in Spain.

I hadn’t been to Madrid for many years in fact tbh e last time was helping some due diligence on a business called Meta4 that was looking for investment in the early 2000s. This was my first experience of late dinners and sleeping at your desk during the day!

I really enjoyed visiting and would definitely go back for a few days with Claire for a holiday but not in the summer.

The buildings are lovely and it was a lot cheaper to eat out than I expected so a few nice meals and a bottle of wine while the US tried to make sense of the Trump tariffs.
